DHOx Blog

A number of blog posts have gone up in the past month, including a summary of DHOx in 2016. There are also two guest blog posts, one from Databasix on the workshop they ran late last year 'Health Data in the Real World', and another by Cyan Collier about recent developments with Project Tide, which started at a DHOx hack weekend 'Project Tide: from Hackathon to Clinical Trial'. AIM day 2017

The first Oxford AIM day was run last year and will repeated in 2017 with a focus on Ageing, covering anything from (but not limited to: medical device development, assisted living technologies, diagnostics, strategies for disease prevention and promoting healthy living. It has a simple format, centred on small group discussions based on a question proposed by the external participant, with each question given an hour for discussion with leading scientists and experts from several different disciplines. Funding calls for 2018 projects are open until 17th April, with a focus on healthy living, support active ageing and improving healthcare.

Innovation Forum (Oxford)

The entrepreneurship lecture series carries on this evening with a lecture on "Negotiation is the art of letting others have it your way". An intriguing topic, and if past lectures are to go by, sure to be fascinating and worth the time. King's Fund - Digital Health and Care Congress - The full programme for this King's Fund event on 11-12 July has been announced. It's being run in partnership with NHS Digital, and will have a mix of projects from around the country, inspirational keynote speakers, and lessons from the vanguards and testbeds.
